BVR stages its fifth spring festival with satis&fy

Small rig deployed to great effect

The Federal Association of German Cooperative Banks (BVR) celebrated this year’s Spring Festival on April 21 in Berlin’s Forum für Fahrkultur Meilenwerk. The association again brought satis&fy AG Berlin on board to tackle the event’s technical and creative challenges. It was the fifth time the Berlin-based satis&fy crew had produced the traditional spring fling. The event specialists also designed the stage. Despite rolling out a relatively small rig, satis&fy managed to impress the customer and guests with a well-thought-out lighting, audio, and stage setup. Martin Buth, the BVR’s resident event manager, notes, “Every get-together was different, and each had its highlights, but this year’s gathering was – and this is not just my opinion – a perfect and harmonious synthesis of the arts that sets the highest standards for all future events." As in the previous year, the backdrop was a wall decorated in the association’s colors. The centerpiece was an ellipse in two sections made of coreboard, both of which were emblazoned with digital prints of the member and association logos. A foil cutout of the BVR logo also featured prominently on the 45-square-meter backdrop, and was backlit using power-saving LED lamps. Several 40” LCD monitors, including three HD units, were placed on stands and distributed throughout the room, treating guests to a bird’s-eye view of all the action at the spring fling. And the sound reinforcement system provided blanket coverage to ensure the audience was able to enjoy the band and the BVR’s presentations.
