satis&fy stages leading information management congress in Frankfurt
EMC, the leader in the disk storage market, hosted the 2010 EMC Forum in the Frankfurt Congress Center on September 8 to 9. The motto for this year’s customer and partner conference was Welcome to the Private Cloud. The computer storage powerhouse EMC organized several workshops and meetings to discuss the development of tomorrow’s fully virtual computing center. The agency Carsten Knieriem Live Communication retained satis&fy AG Deutschland to stage the get-together. So while EMC was busy steering the computer center into the private cloud, satis&fy was hard at work gearing up the Frankfurt Congress Center for the two-day conference and fair.
The Karben-based production company equipped the main conference hall and seven breakout rooms of varying size with video, light, and audio gear. The company was also tasked to provide set and stage services as well as rental furniture. The satis&fy crew set up 19 booths in the Congress Center’s foyer, rolling out stage carpet and covering the rear walls with 2D foil cutouts to create backdrops. All stands were illuminated, wired for computers, and equipped with rental furnishings including bridge and computer tables, bar stools, cube stools, cocktail chairs, brochure racks, and info stands. satis&fy also fashioned several banners and digital prints for the overall event. One 0.85-by-9.5-meter banner spanned Theodor-Heuss-Allee for three days. The company also provided equipment and furnishings for the opening day’s evening event. To this end, the satis&fy team converted one of the breakout rooms into a stylish lounge, surely setting a speed record for refurbishing a room.
