Event technology service provider satis&fy moves into new premises
Late last year satis&fy AG Deutschland (satis&fy) moved into its new office building, which had been built in just under a year. The 160 employees in the town of Karben pitched in, helping the three CEOs cart boxes and move the entire company to the facility. Everyone was at their new workstations just two days later. The finishing touches were put on the new building in early May. A growing workforce, increasing revenue, and a considerable backlog of orders prompted the provider of event and media technology services to revamp the company, which had been launched 1993. A comprehensive restructuring campaign had been initiated at the Karben site back in 2008. With its new premises, the enterprise now has 1,350 square meters added office space. The new three-story building accommodates the company’s administrative, marketing, creative, and human resources departments, as well as the executive offices. The project team and trainees are also based in the new building. All the technical crews and equipment such as lighting, audio, and video gear, some of which had been housed in containers on the company grounds, have found a permanent home in the old premises. Sections of the old facility have been renovated and modified. The new buildings’ owners insisted on an open, transparent, and inviting look and feel. Windows extending down to the floor afford views of the garden and yard. The building offers plenty of spots where coworkers can meet, greet, and talk shop. “This is very conducive to communication," notes the clearly contented satis&fy CEO Nico Ubenauf. The extra warehouse and office space, which has been structured to suit the company’s workflows, has already helped perceptibly increase productivity. Management says staff can now work more conveniently, quickly, efficiently, and flexibly.
