satis&fy Features “Speed Dating” at Their IMEX 2008 Exhibit
When the meeting and incentive travel industries came together in Frankfurt for IMEX 2008 – the essential worldwide exhibition for incentive travel, meetings and events – event production company, satis&fy, was one of the exhibitors. The technical event services company made a strong statement with an innovative booth design and a friendly customer approach. In addition to their own IMEX exhibit, satis&fy provided the media equipment for GCB German Convention Bureau e.V.’s exhibit as well as the technical execution of IMEX’s evening festivities at the Frankfurt Opera House.
Finding a match in no time
To show their innovative thinking and to provide an informative exchange with IMEX visitors, satis&fy took advantage of the new trend in “speed dating.” The slogan ‘satis&fy – more than just a speed date’ drew curious visitors to the booth. “We wanted to get in touch with potential clients and business partners in a very unconventional and entertaining way,” explained satis&fy’s co-founder and CEO, Nico Ubenauf. “With speed dating, we quickly found out if there was a match between our company and the prospect visiting our booth.”

Targeting meeting planners from overseas companies, sats&fy has gained 30% of sales abroad with a client list that includes international companies such as NIKE, Chrysler and Lexus.
Focusing on the “One-Stop Solution”
At their IMEX exhibit, satis&fy’s outstanding exhibit featured nine 42" plasma screens. Not only were the screens excellent attention getters, they also provided examples of the company’s “One-Stop Solution” (OSS) concept. As a one-stop solution, satis&fy offers all technical & creative planning, as well as execution services, under one roof.
Visitors to the booth also learned just how important the support of a professional technical event company has become in the production of successful events. Corporate shows . . . PR events . . . road shows . . . shareholder meetings . . . exhibits. None of these productions work any more without professional technical event and media support.
