satis&fy Invests in the HDbaseT Technology Standard
Kramer TP-582T and TP-582R devices added to the rental pool
The new transmission standard combines an HDMI/DVI signal, including audio, with a 100-Mbit network link and sends these signals over distances of up to 100 meters via a standard CAT5/CAT6 twisted pair cable. Signals are not compressed and they arrive with zero latency. This technology is in many cases a cost-effective and robust alternative to DVI optical fiber lines.
The Kramer TP-582T and TP-582R are the first HDbaseT products to be added to the satis&fy rental pool. The video support team also invested in a number of event-approved Sommer Cable CATe 100-meter network cables.
The TP-582T’s specifications:
Inputs:
• 2 HDMI connectors
• 1 IR on a 3.5mm mini jack
• 1 Ethernet 100BaseT network interface
• 1 RS-232
Outputs:
• 1 HDbaseT RJ-45 connector
• Up to 2.25Gbps bandwidth per graphic channel
The TP-582R’s specifications:

• 1 HDbaseT RJ-45 connector
