Automatica 2008
Every year in Munich, the international trade fair known as Automatica hosts the leading robotics and automation manufacturers. Between June 10th to 13th, more than 30,000 trade visitors from approximately 90 countries visited the new Munich trade fair grounds.
On behalf of Hartmann + Hartmann GmbH, industrial design and advertising agency from Augsburg, satis&fy carried out for the exhibition stand of robotics maker, KUKA. The exhibit – a relaxing lounge atmosphere – concentrated on a multimedia-based depiction showing examples of how KUKA’s products work along with forward-looking automation solutions.
While competitors’ exhibits demonstrated manufacturing processes using industrial robots, KUKA requested a virtual stand design utilizing frameless plasma screens. Therefore, satis&fy’s video experts installed a total of 64 plasma screens on the 1300 square meter stand. Serving as great attention-getters, two 3,70×3,10×1,50 meter walls of frameless plasma screens projected the company’s slogan “KUKA Your Ideas.”
In addition, because satis&fy integrated six more frameless plasma screens into four 5,56×2,52×0,50 meter backwalls of the bar, guests to the bar and other trade fair attendees were always able to keep their eyes on KUKA’s innovative inventions that were projected there.
