The environment fair NUTEC, an effective and ecological-friendly fair, was taking place on November 12.-14., 2008 at Frankfurt’s fair and exhibition centre where many ecologically oriented companies met. satis&fy AG Deutschland (satis&fy) built a 18 square meters fair stand for the American sporting goods producer Nike. And it was guaranteed ecologically compatible: a floor made out of recycled Nike shoes.

In the centre of the stand: four 3x1 meter high free-standing information columns. These columns, made out of Tipla-wood-bands, were put together in frame by satis&fy’s professional fair constructors. The front- and backside of the columns were panelled with 19 millimetre smooth surfaced chipboards.
At faire side the stais&fy-crew decorated the columns with texts and photos on black print sheets and built in a NEC 4000 Plasma and two Canton speakers into each of them. Beforehand, they had opened some area into the columns to fit the Plasma and the speakers. DVD players and Laptops for power point presentations were placed inside the columns with any cable connections invisible from the outside.
Over the side walls one could access the media players. For this purpose they used Forex boards covered with orange foil. The stand back wall was built out of six 3x1 meters high wooden frames. These were bolt together between each other and also with the fair ground, and secured with additional weights.

The complete fair stand was constructed at a carpenter’s workshop of the Karben Production Company.
