Stars of Sports

On January 26, Federal President Horst Köhler awarded 17 sport clubs with the Stars of Sports at the Berlin Congress Center axica. Satis&fy AG Berlin was put in charge of lightening, sound, video and rigging for the final gala. The stage was also designed by satis&fy. Its background was made up of a twelve by five meter wall of logo prints including sixteen 42-inch seamless plasma screens by Vision Tool Company. The initiators of the event Stars of Sport were the German Olympic Sport Association, the German Volksbank and Raiffeisenbank, as well as the German Association of Cities. Awards were given to those sports clubs that have made a notable commitment over and above their mere sport goals, serving an important denotation in society.
