satis&fy clinches exclusive deal with Former East Germany showpiece
Event service specialist to provide technical support to the MOSKAU for three years
satis&fy AG Berlin (satis&fy) signed a three-year exclusive contract to provide technical support to the Moskau, Berlin’s hip new venue. The prestigious building, a former East German showpiece at Karl-Marx-Allee 34 in the heart of Berlin, will reopen at the end of the year. With three stories and 3,500 square meters floor space for events, this former flagship restaurant offers 15 rooms for conferences, receptions, fairs, exhibitions, product presentations, and workshops. Now that it has brought satis&fy on board, the venue has an internationally experienced and creative event technology specialist to help plan, deploy, and manage equipment for all kinds of events. satis&fy aims to set up a project manager’s office and an extensive equipment warehouse on site. This will speed up decision-making, help provide even better support to the customer, and ensure events are staged expediently, with the right look and feel, and to optimum effect.
While setting up the necessary technical infrastructure, satis&fy deployed the latest network systems to transmit signals throughout the building. Now the various areas – the Kosmos conference room, the classic foyer, and the club zone – are readily connected without any visible equipment. “Our high standards for quality and service were instrumental in the Moskau management’s decision to bring satis&fy on board," notes Uwe Buhrdorf, branch manager at satis&fy Berlin. He also points out that satis&fy is known to plan reliably, provide quality consulting, and aspire to technical perfection, as Ralf Regitz, Moskau manager and operator of the event location ewerk, is well aware: “We have worked with satis&fy on several occasions at the ewerk, and know that satis&fy sees events much as we do – what matters most is the overall quality." Regitz finds this reassuring. Also, as the partner of choice for various Berlin venues such as the axica convention center, satis&fy has demonstrated its capabilities as a technology supplier. “The Moskau’s management shares our attitude towards design, architecture, and sustainability. This is why we are so pleased to be part of this exciting project and look forward to witnessing the Moskau’s revitalization as a place of prestige and glamour,” says Buhrdorf.
Built in the 1960s, the former Moskau Café as weathered many architectural and societal changes in the last 40 years. It was renovated last year, restoring the venue to its original ‘60s style.
