satis&fy Presents the Lexus LS 460 Test Drive

At the Schlosshotel Fuschel in Austria, automaker Lexus introduced a new high-end model known as the LS 460. Held in July 2006, approximately 400 international journalists attended this invitation-only event.

satis&fy developed and executed the entire stage and set design, which required special focus on detailed solutions. Acrylic glass was the main design element throughout the exhibit. All directional signage was done in black plexiglass with 3D logos. The stage set was also dominated by this material and included a multimedia backwall made from 504 video tiles which were covered with satin plexiglass sheets for a smooth look and feel.

Instead of a traditional screen, a 3×3 matrix of seamless plasma displays were used. And, a high gloss Lexus monolith with a backlit 3D Lexus logo were also integrated into the stage set. To add to the eye-catching display, the stage floor was finished in a real bamboo veneer.
