Seven New Trainees for satis&fy Karben

Other branches also reinforced with new trainees / satis&fy hires 15 new trainees in total

A slew of enterprising young hands has joined the crew of Karben-based satis&fy AG Deutschland (satis&fy). On August 8, seven trainees came aboard for their first official day of work at the production company. The apprentices are working towards various professional qualifications. Two aim to earn their wings as event management assistants, three as event equipment specialists, one as a human resources services consultant, and another as a visual marketing designer.

Training coordinator Julia Prowald and instructor Christine Dietz welcomed the new crew to a five-day orientation week on August 1. They were taken on a tour of the offices and storage depots, learned about the corporate philosophy, and were introduced to co-workers and executives. A company rallye was also on the agenda. All the seasoned members of the satis&fy crew were happy to answer the newcomers’ questions.

New trainees also reinforced the teams at satis&fy’s Berlin und Werne branch offices. Four trainees each from Berlin traveled to Werne at midweek to join the Karben group for the orientation. At the end of the introductory week, trainees presented results of their company rallyes to their fellow apprentices. “Trainees generally come up with very creative ways to present the facts that they learned about the company," notes Julia Prowald. This year the new trainees looked to a children’s TV game show called “1, 2 or 3” for inspiration, staging an interactive form of the show for their presentation. Last year’s group presented its results in a TV news format.

For years a staunch advocate of vocational training, satis&fy today offers opportunities to gain qualifications for many professions ranging from event technician to office administrator. satis&fy currently employs 21 trainees at Karben, 11 at Werne, and 8 at Berlin. With a trainee contingent as large as this, the company’s apprentice headcount is well above the industry average.
