Successful first quarter for satis&fy
Increase of job orders towards the year’s end for the events specialist
With sales of more than 9 million Euro in the first quarter (Oct. 1st – Dec 31st), satis&fy started it’s fiscal year 2007/ 2008. In comparison to last year, this is an increase of 3 million Euro and the highest quarterly turnover the company has seen in its 15-year history. For the whole fiscal year satis&fy projects sales of 26 million Euro.
According to CEO Nico Ubenauf, this success was driven by business that came toward the end of the year after a rather quiet fall. In November and December, the company executed corporate events for:
- Car makers Audi, Toyota and Fiat
- Sports industry leader NIKE
- Pricewaterhouse Coopers
- Bertelsmann Management
- “Fanta4”
- “Die Ärzte”
The beginning of the new year is also very promising with the confirmed technical and decorative execution for the Frankfurt Opera Ball as well as the inaugural ceremonies for the new A 380 hangar at Rhein Main Airport. “The outlook for the 2007/2008 fiscal year is very promising,” claimed Ubenauf.
On a growth path
For the running fiscal year Ubenauf projects sales of 26 million Euro. The strategic focus for growth continues to be centered around the implementation of the company’s “One-stop solution” concept. As a production company, satis&fy oversees and connects all technical and creative departments. In addition, technical perfection and the employees’ dedication to detail make the company very competitive in the marketplace.
Satis&fy’s investments in high tech equipment ensure the quality level of services in the future. The international business, 38% of the current sales, is projected for continued growth. And, in April 2008, satis&fy presented its new area of exhibition and scenic services at IMEX, the meeting and incentive business fair.
In addition to its financial growth, the company is also growing physically. In April 2008, cornerstones for a new office building and warehouse in Karben were laid, increasing the capacity by a third to 85,000 square feet. The Berlin office, founded in 2006, moved into new additional office space thereby increasing its warehouse capacity. Last July, the northern Germany branch office moved from Ascheberg to Werne, increasing its warehouse space from 20,000 to 70,000 square feet. In the Dutch office the number of employees has increased significantly.
Promoting its “One-Stop Solution” (OSS) concept, satis&fy AG Deutschland has established itself as the leading European production company for audiovisual event and media technology. Our services range from lighting, sound, audio and audiovisual services to staging technology, exhibits, decoration, graphic and 3D animation. The production company makes use of one of Europe’s biggest equipment pools and a team of more than 200 specialists at their headquarters in Karben as well as three branch offices in Werne, Berlin, and the Netherlands.
