Production Company satis&fy Berlin plans Clubbing-Tour for Yellow Lounge / Hélène Grimaud at Berghain on November 3rd
North, South, East, and West – inspired by the four cardinal points the Production Company satis&fy AG Berlin in cooperation with Berlin’s video- and design office ‘Die Pfadfinderei’ were planning the Yellow Lounge Classics Event. The clubbing-tour ‘Berghain Yellow Lounge I-IV’ is taking place in Berlin’s techno-temple Berghain in Friedrichtshain. On four nights this fall common techno-beats are traded in for classical sounds featuring different artists, VJs and DJs. On September 1st, Yellow Lounge ‘The North – sensing darkness’ gave a premier start. Following on October 7th, Yellow Lounge ‘The South – lightness of breathing‘ gave their traditional prelude. On Monday November 3rd, classical enthusiasts are agitatedly awaiting ‚The East – sensing melancholy’ featuring Hélène Grimaud, one of the most popular and outré female pianists in the world. And last but not least in December ‘The West – experiencing rationality’ will give a final call to the Classics event. Satis&fy and ‚Pfadfinderei’ developed individual spatial concepts for each occasion. This included extensive light and video installations not only to emphasize each motto but also to image live-acts as well as DJ and VJ performances. The Yellow Lounge was founded in 2001 by the music and record label Universal Music in cooperation with the German Gramophone. Today, Yellow Lounge has made itself a name in Berlin’s night life scenery.
