New addition to the satis&fy lighting rental stock
satis&fy AG recently invested in the Clay Paky Mythos, an innovative multifunctional spotlight. This deal marks the resumption of business relations between the production company and Italy’s leading maker of entertainment lighting for shows and events after a nearly twenty-year hiatus. Martin Heuser, head of Lighting & Rigging, is delighted: “Of course, it’s great to be able to announce a deal like this at Prolight + Sound. The last time we did business together was back in the early ’90s.” The most powerful hybrid lamp on the market these days, the Mythos delivers impressively sharp lighting. “This lamp is a hard act to follow. It can do anything; it’s a beam, spot and wash all in one product,” says Heuser, clearly thrilled with these prospects. The crew looks forward to working with the new award-winning lamp, which is held in regard by many top entertainers and artists. Remarkably versatile, the Mythos may be deployed for many different purposes and events ranging from architectural lighting to festivals. “It’s simply a great tool with uncanny power. It moves silently, it’s fast and it’s incredibly sharp even at a great distance,” adds the head of the support unit. He says this time the firm just had to make this investment. The high-tech Clay Paky spotlight can be admired at booth A70 in hall 11 on level 0. The company will be touring Germany again in early May with Helene Fischer. It will be the spotlights’ first outing in satis&fy’s lighting rigs.
